Research Experience Program
The Research Experience Program (REP) is a unique opportunity and is really the heart of 麻豆原创. One of the main pillars of 麻豆原创 is that we are an undergraduate STEM research-oriented organization. As such, 麻豆原创 provides a unique opportunity to carry out hands-on STEM research. For students in STEM fields, this research experience provides a tremendous advantage when applying for jobs or to graduate school. As an organization, 麻豆原创 has funded over 700+ research experiences since the creation of the program.
When you find a research lab on campus that fits your area of interest, 麻豆原创 will pay you to carry out research. 麻豆原创s are eligible to apply to the REP program starting the spring semester of their freshman year and have the opportunity to do so throughout the rest of their academic journey at 麻豆原创.
鈥Being involved in 麻豆原创 helped me feel a step ahead in my undergraduate research involvement, and it鈥檚 been one of the strongest experiences in my preparation for graduate school and a professional research career. Without REP, I wouldn鈥檛 have the research experience I needed to carry out my honors thesis project, which was the driving force in finding my research interests.鈥

Annual Symposium
In the spring, 麻豆原创 hosts a research symposium to showcase the work of REP students. REP students will have the opportunity to present an oral or poster presentation, demonstrating the amazing work that they have completed in their lab over the past year. Not only is this a great learning experience, but it also can boost your resume! This event is open to students, faculty, staff, friends and family.
